Finally got around to picking up this "said to be" home use only Alpine Ski. This is the smae guy I got my "said to be" home use only Wild Western. I dont doubt that they are, but of course no way to prove it. Nices machines I ran across thats for sure. I dont have a price for the Alpine Ski yet, but will consider offers for now. I might have a price tonight when I get back from picking up another machine.

Looks nice!
Clever posting it in General to drum up interest in a sale.
Good luck.

That's a thing of beauty! Daryl, I'm glad you don't live closer to me; I would be broke!

I did like Alpine Ski, but didn't fall in love w/ it. Honestly, it's probably on the bottom tier for me compared to the other Taito heavy hitters of that era. That being said, I 'd still love to own one....

If Water Ski artwork ever was found, I'd definitely convert it to that, since I find the gameplay better....

Beautiful games . I always loved those style cabs. My first game I ever bought was a Stratovox, different paint job but basically the same cab. I also had a Jungle King and Elevator Action, wish I still did.

It's one of my 5 favorite games of all-time. I have one as well.

I'm pretty sure they were home use only, at least at one point. Lloyd at Coinopwarehouse at those exact titles about 6-7 years ago in his warehouse, I passed on them, but he claimed they were HUO back then.

I recall them being very clean back then, but don't remember looking real close at them.

Just funny how these games bounce around.

I've probably being doing this way too long to remember all this....

I have one too, got it cheap, fixed it and cleaned, touched up, even put a few blue leds in the marquee light and makes it look very cool, oddly enough, when folks come over they play it and play it , and love it, so I kept it. Selling it now as its either this or the new lunar lander in the game room, but if you guys are on the fence with this HUO one, buy it, OP has a very nice one here....and guests will play it, kids too...

Yup. The person I got them from purchased them from Lloyd and then stuck them in a storage unit. He never even brought them home. He wouldn't sell me the Wild Western, but he did offered to trade me my Wild Western which was in good condition, but nothing like his. He said I would put it to more use than he would being stuck in storage for more years. He likes the game so as long as he had one, he didn't mind trading his. The Alpine Ski is now sold and will be shipping to a new owner who appreciated these type of machines.
