I finally got my k7000 board up an running. I had the ever elusive fuse blowing issue (along with several HOTs and 2 Flybacks!). It turned out the problem was in the tube. I think the neck had some kind of short... I swapped with a known good tube, and now it comes up. Now, the monitor works, but the image is way too big. The board is the P447, Im pretty sure thats 19". I cant adjust it anywhere even close in BOTH vertical and Horizontal. V Reg is a 30130, and its an older style board without all the jumpers for different Vregs.. My other P447s have 30123s.. Could it be too much voltage causing the overshoot?

If the chassis has a 30130, that's a 25" monitor chassis.

Does it have a large heat sink(sticks up past the ic for 3 inches) on the vert. output ic. If so then you have a 25 inch chassis

The 447 is just an earlier board, used for 9", 13", 19" and 25" monitors.

The fact that the image is too large on a 19" tube and that it has a 130 voltage regulator tells me it's the version for a 25".

The P538 is also used for both 19" and 25". (also 27" but not seen often)

So don't go just swapping voltage regulators, there are other minor component differences.
One of these days I may make a list.

thats news to me man ive never seen a 25er run a 447 chassis ever..

to the original poster, i might have a working 19 inch chassis but ill have to dig through and check. if i do have a working one do you wanna swap?
