So now that I picked up these vector games I'm out of room again and need to decide what to let go. Usually it's not that hard of a decision but...I love vectors....so I'm not sure what I want to do. I realistically need to get rid of 2 games to have the room continue to be functional. So here's the lineup:

- Star Wars - not going anywhere. It's got an Amp and an ESB kit and I love it.
- F-14 Tomcat pin - my only pin so it needs to stay unless it's to swap for another.
- Rampage - fun game and gets quite a bit of play but not one I'm in love with
- X-Men 4 player cab - big cabinet, in the process of setting up a (nondestructive) Mame 4 player configuration
- Asteroids Deluxe - vector game with 3d, fun classic, hard to let go since it's instantly recognizable to anyone
- Black Widow - I'm really the only one who plays it much but I love it. Plus color vector=hard to unload.
- Tempest - Lots of play, color vector, gotta stay
- Rip Off - hard to find game, kids are loving it, vector game - getting more and more attached to it.
- Omega Race - not yet working but attached to it due to the adventure factor from rescuing it, plus it's a vector which I have a hard time letting go of.
- Spider Man - fully working as a Mame setup. Just beautiful artwork and gets played constantly.
- Centipede with trackball and joystick, ArcadeSD setup. Just finished it and it's a keeper, gets a ton of play
- SuperChexx bubble hockey - absolutely the most played game out there
- Foosball - one of my favorite games

So....as you can see there's not much I really want to get rid of this time. Usually the choice is easier. Right now I'd say the Rampage is going to go but I think I need to move one more and can't decide!

The one that jumps out at me is X-men. It's a big cabinet, and it's one of those games that you can only beat by pumping in lots of credits. I tend to prefer skill games where the game truly ends when you're out of lives, with no way to continue.

Don't get me wrong, X-men is a fun game -- but IMO it's only really fun when friends are playing it with you. If you need to get rid of something that's my vote.

Well I am in the process of making it play all the Mame games though. It has an advantage over the Spider Man in that it has 3 buttons per player so that NBA Jam and other games will work as well. You have a good point about it being big though for sure.

Well then I say get rid of the Spider Man. And if you need to drop one more, boot Rampage. You will be able to play it on the X-Men MAME cab.

Everything else is pretty unique. Spider Man and Rampage get my vote.

I'd say Spiderman and Rampage, or Spiderman and the Foosball.

You don't need two MAME cabs and x-men sounds like the more versatile of the two. Rampage can be played on the X-men cab, and Foosball tables can always be purchased pretty easily if you ever want to buy one again.

Foosball, Spiderman, and Rampage...then you can go get another game you'd rather have. :)

Rampage, and Spiderman can be played in MAME anyways, and the spiderman shouldn't be too hard to sell.

Rampage should also sell to some degree a lot of folks have nostalgia with that one.

Well, you acquired the X-Men from someone special so I'd say that's a keeper. ;)

But honestly, I'd say X-Men would be one of the ones to go since you already have a 4P MAME cab with the player start buttons that you need/want. So there's no reason to have a second 4P MAME cab other than the awesome artwork and it goes well next to Spider-Man. In your situation, space is more valuable than having the same type of cab, especially one that takes up a lot of space.

Sell the Black Widow to me... when I get some room freed up.

Well I took the recommendations to heart and the X-Men game left my home tonight. It's kind of sad to see the empty spot where it was. X-Men, I hardly knew ye.

Agree 100%. I would have kept the Xmen and ditched the Spiderman.

Well it's too late, but Asteroids Deluxe are always pretty easy to find in good shape. There's several around here for sale (for example).

Now you tell me!

Agree 100%. I would have kept the Xmen and ditched the Spiderman.

But but but....Spiderman looks sooooo cool. Plus it's my 4-player Mame setup. :)

If you ever want to get rid of Omega Race, maybe around CAX time, let me know.

You can add the 3rd button for each player pretty easy on the spiderman. If you are careful, you wouldn't even ruin the CPO.

Rampage should play fine on the MAME cab, so I would let that one go next if you haven't already. When you decide to sell the BW to make room for a game the family will play, let me know about that too. :)

I'll let you know but I'm not planning to get rid of either of them right now. For the right price I'm sure I would. But I really like BW. And I kind of would like to hang onto Omega Race just because of where it came from. Everyone should try to hang onto games they drag out of old abandoned buildings when possible I think. :)
