Another W Indiana Jones question

For those of you who have one, or played one for any period of time know that the ball can be very active and jump over the ramps and end up out of play, draining the ball. Then it gives you another ball, just like in the "Eternal Life" mode. It doesn't always give another ball, but a majority of the time it does.

How does it know? I've asked my pin tech and he didn't know what I was talking about. I caught it on video the other day by chance when a guy I know stopped by and I video'd him playing it for a bit.

If I remember correctly it is in conjunction with the three drop targets....if the ball drains right after hitting them it can assume the ball "jumped". I also believe this is a setting you can have on or off in the adjustments.

This happens in other situations too, and it gives me a new ball. It's odd...somehow it knows I got gypped on my play, most of the time.

Nobody else? I know there are a few members with this machine.
