I know there have been unboxing threads, but this is my first (and possibly last) NIB pin, so I'm going to brag a bit. I was waiting (for 3 hours) in the garage for them to show up. Then a beautiful sight finally arrived:

I was going to wait for someone to show up and help, but that was 4 hours of waiting I wasn't going to do. Off the pallet onto a dolly.

Up a pair of stairs (with my temp 2x4s to help going up):

The hardest part of moving games into my basement is getting them safely started down the stairs. It's fairly tight at the top:

Off the dolly (no room for it at the bottom landing) onto sliders:

Now the really tricky part, tilting it backwards. Remember, I was on my own…

I slid the top edge of the box down the pantry door , which worked well until I got to the doorknob, at which point I had to climb over the banister and free it. Once it was over, it slid 6" down the stairs on its own, and I thought it was going to keep going! I really thought I had just destroyed my new pin. After I got it balanced:

At the bottom of the landing after I got it stood up (with carpet sliders underneath).

In the room on its side (I'm saving the box):

I was worried about wearing the front edge art even though it had the protector on. So I grabbed the sliders again:

And then once I got to the carpet:

Sliding it into place running into clearance issues (not the door knob on the right):

Shortly after I play the first game (a respectable 11.8 mil, especially considering I was still shaking and sweating from the move) and headed upstairs to clean up. Well that's about it. Thanks for letting me share.

Nice work for just yourself. Did it slide slowly down the stairs or did you have to really work to keep it from zooming down?

Update that signature, Tron is in the house!

At first it was going step by step, but then it started trying to run me over (another oh-$#!t moment)

you made me cackle out loud on that one and the wife enjoyed the story after asking what I was laughing about.

Good job man, good job :)

what's the black thing under the start button??

Nice score and congrats on getting it down in one piece solo!

Thats a plug in a recess. For adding a tournament button later if he wants. Gary Stern ain't no fool. No more of this free tourney button shit.

Thanks guys. That Tron poster came from a member on here. Can't remember his name now, but search for Tron tournament poster should turn him up for you.

Congrats man! That's quite a feat, getting it down stairs and all by yourself.

That Best Buy deal looks to be a good one. If I didn't have my LE, I'd probably spring for the pro using their financing.

Enjoy!

Tom

I'm loving it. I'm really glad that I did this. That being said, I have had a few problems with it. Noisy recognizer motor, I had a pop bumper go ape$#it (going off randomly), and somehow my wife managed to do this:

My only regret is that I didn't wait for help moving it. My back is still reminding me of it. Although all things considered, I'm lucky I didn't break the pin or damage my house more (all I did was scrape off some paint on the pantry door jam.
