I've warmed up to this game recently and in good time. I can't wait to get a cap kit installed on this and start playing.
I took some pictures of DK3 that I picked up tonight. Some things to note. The markings you see next to the speaker grill is actually duct tape residue. The volume pot was on full blast and I think whoever owned it didn't know how to turn it down. So they placed duct tape over the speaker grill. Some people are clever. Wow. Just...wow. It shouldn't be too hard to clean off though. I believe the speaker is blown now because it just makes a really high pitch noise even with the volume pot all the way down. Either that, the audio board needs to be recapped.
Other than that, the CPO has minor damage, but not enough that I would feel compelled to buy a new CPO anytime soon. The bezel and marquee are really nice. The side art is pristine with the exception of a few nicks. The base is all intact and just needs new paint. It has two Nintendo Serial Plates attached. That's a first for me.
