Picked this up from CL last night. Monitor isn't working....dead after moving they said. I haven't had a chance to investigate other than a quick once-over. Plays blind though.

I paid in excess of $50 this time, I promise.

This was a good deal I think, it was listed on CL with a $500 asking price, or best offer. So I called her up and went over and we negotiated a final price. I didn't know it had an amplifone until I got it home. Never looked inside the cabinet. Don't know much about working on amps. It has a white flyback...does that mean it's been replaced already?

I wasn't particularly fast on the draw on this one. It was out there for quite a while. It's already spoken for though I believe.

No just a verbal agreement. It sucks peoples word dont mean shit no more :(

I have seen this happen a few times. Its the sellers fault, not the buyers. I was driving to get a game once 300 miles away, the guy knew I was coming, he called to tell me he sold it to someone else but he had some other machines if I was interested. LOL!! I turned around and came home, was not the other klovers fault it was the seller. He was a preacher lol!! I agree peoples word means nothing anymore, not even a preacher. I always say the deal is not done until its in the back of the truck.

She didn't screw you over for more money. I don't know why she screwed you over but it wasn't that. I'm sorry it went down this way. I don't feel good about it either.

I would have she told me she didnt get off work until 530pm it was 510 pm when i got the email saying it was sold

Andrew

Oh... I dunno... he was standing in front of her - cash in hand.
That could've been it.
I find that usually works.

If I want it, I go and get it, right then.
