I got my other problems resolved (see other thread I posted)

Now that the game is functional, I was able to identify all its problems, and I found 2 of them.

First, the Frame advance coil is bad (the one that advances the numbered frame reel)
...no biggie ill order one Monday.

Second, the game does not recognize when a strike or spare has taken place. (The 6 strike/spare steppers work, I verified that)
Right now it will not illuminate the strike/spare lights, nor advance to the next player when a strike occurs. You must pass the puck over the rear switches on the board to advance to the next player.

Any help is appreciated! Im having fun learning as I go here. :D

I have fixed a number of bowlers over the years, and my observation is that the ground system seems to be more of an issue on these games than on the pinballs of the same time period.

Check all of your ground straps and make sure you are running a three prong electrical plug.

I got everything working properly after spending an hour on the main switch stack.....adjusting, cleaning, etc.

Painful to do but worth it in the end.
