I am pretty sure it's a bootleg galaga, because I have one that's similar. It's a bootleg in a generic home-built cab with the exact same monitor bezel. But my cab is painted generic black whereas this has what appears to be artwork of some kind at least on the front of it...it also has a "cruncher" marquee that is backwards?? Any ideas?

It most likely has a bootleg board in it. Those style cabs were used on a bunch of bootleg style games, Crazy Kong, Mr Do, Lady Bug, etc. If it's fully working and the monitor is good, I'd say it's worth 150.

This is one of those generic cabs that pop up every once in a while. Looks to be in decent shape, but nothing valuable...

looks like it's in a Taito cab, no?

No :)

Here's a couple articles Jeff Rothe wrote on his blog about this style cab (which pics of a couple examples):

I don't think Falcon manufactured them (the Falcon Crazy Kong cabs were woodgrain cabs similar in appearance to Frogger cabs), but he may be right with the "Gleeb" name (I have no idea. I know they aren't Zaccaria cabs either, which he also mentioned in the first article)

Since CL posts disappear, along with the photos, for future reference, here's the 2 pics:

The thing that's got me wondering is the fact that it appears the right side of the cab has some kind of artwork on it, which, to me at least, would indicate that the cabinet was intended for a dedicated purpose at some point. It's kinda hard to manufacture totally generic sideart for any game, I would think. Which leads me to believe that the cab MAY have been something else originally, or perhaps it was a dedicated Cruncher?? Has anyone ever seen one of those before?
