Sorry, I ended up using the original atari board and just jumpered the wires from the points in that diagram to the corresponding pins on the mouse PCB where I removed the mouse optics. That way I could de-solder the wires and go back to stock if I wanted.

1 more thing. I'm going to grab a PC-Jamma adaptor so I can use the original monitor. That seems to be the best solution. Of, course the monitor is thrashed from rat pee and poo. I'm going to be sending it off to Chad at AC and let him deal with it

This is starting to get expensive
