Another odd one in Phx

There's also a Starship Fantasy game on Phoenix CL right now. Never heard of it, and apparently, nobody on VAPS has one.

I remember Spiders being a great game but i haven't seen one in years so playability might suck from an adult's perspective.

Apparently it's just a crappy Asteroids bootleg, but it hasn't been dumped for posterity.

I'd be willing to pay for it if you could pick it up and send me the PCB. After I got it dumped I would send it back to you and you could keep it, or sell it or whatever.

There's likely no differences in the ROMs.

None of the revs of asteroids ever actually put the word "Asteroids" on screen, and only the later ones draw an Atari copyright...

The earliest version documented in MAME writes "ASTEROIDS BY ATARI" at the bottom of the opening screen. Later versions write "©1979 ATARI INC".

Some of the bootlegs probably only differ in that notice. For example:

I'd like to find out about Starship Fantasy for sure and, if necessary, document it for historical reference.
