I have had this Tron game 4 years and finally decided to look at it more closely. I replaced the power supply and now the game plays blind. I can hear the correct sounds and the coin mechs work to add credits. Then the game will play like it should but there is not picture. I replaced the chassis boards with a known good set. I have neck glow in the monitor and the screen look like the below pictures. That really only leaves the tube as the last component that may be bad so I thought. I replaced the tube with one I believe is good. It also has less burn in. But I got the same thing again. Any idea or anyone in the Savannah/Hinesville area that may be willing to help for some compensation?

FYI I bought it in pieces. The guy was going to part it out on Ebay because he could not get it fixed. It was dragged 3 hours on its back to get to my house. It was put back together then shipped 1500 miles with the rest of my stuff when I moved.

did you happen to pull the game boards and maybe not connect the video cable in the right place? The video cable can plug into the top board (the SSIO board) but its supposed to plug into the middle board.

FYI, if you had a bad tube you probably wouldn't have a picture.

You were right. I changed the cable and adjusted the picture and it is good now. Thanks. I never would ahve gotten that without your help.

Its a common booboo on games with MCR board sets. I've done it so many times its not even funny.

guilty, I've done it too.

I love it though when you plug something in the wrong place and it doesn't require $200 to fix it. :)

When I'm training guys I tell them to "back off and think about the stupid stuff." I've panicked in situations like this in the past so many times only to find something like a connector off one pin...

But yeah, free is way better then $200.00
