Since I started searching for a new tube for my K4900, I figured I might as well do a cap kit. Well, the monitor was sort of working fine - missing red, but working now won't stay still. I'm guessing I messed something up when I did the cap kit. I've uploaded a video of what the monitor is doing. Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the poor video qulaity - only had my phone available. Just so you know, the game is Capcom Bowling. You should be able to make out the pins in some parts of the video.

Looks like a sync issue. Are you sure you have the video connectors from the game board hooked up properly?

I just moved the sync wires and now it's working. I marked the locations before I pulled them. It is a two wire connector, both white in a three slot connector. I had it marked "white/white/blank" but I put it back "blank/white/white". Thanks komodo. I would have been pulling my hairout, pulling the chassis, checking my cap's, all for nothing.

The image on the monitor has a bend/curl on the left side. I thought a cap kit should fix problems like this. I'm also still not getting any red in the image, but I get it on the screen outside of the game image when I turn the pot all the way up so it's probably a board issue. Will have to try a different board to see that. Any help on why I'm getting this curl? Is it just an adjsutment?
