I answered an ad on Craigslist where arcade machines were listed as more of an afterthought. I sent an email and a lady responded that she thought there was a Pac-Man and a Ms. Pac-Man, but couldn't remember the names of the other games. That was enough for me to set up a time to see what she had for sale. I Google Earth'ed the address to see what I was getting in to and saw the place was just off the interstate, not far from downtown Indy. Great, nice titles and they must be well-kept.
I get to the place and see two barns behind the place and know immediately that they are probably inside one of them, rather than inside where the should be. Sure enough, the old man (I set the appointment to meet with him, his wife was the gatekeeper I guess) led me to one of the barns. He flung the door open and I saw skeletons of an 80's Camaro and a classic Mercedes...my expectations lowered. Of course, the games are up a set of rickety, narrow stairs. No Pac or Ms. Pac, but here are pictures in the order that my eyes saw them:
Star Wars: Monitor (Amplifone!) starts up but screen flickers weirdly. May need a big blue and...an AR? Controller might need work/replaced since right button is wonky. Side art is nice on both sides.
Cheyenne: No pcb. (Any one have a pcb?) Gun feels fine, cpo is cracked at the front/middle.
Nibbler: Doesn't power up. Monitor is WG 19K7such & such. Cabinet has seen better days.
Golden Axe: Zaxxon cabinet. Need to drill back door locks to find out what's inside. Marquee still lights up, but dead otherwise. Cabinet is ghastly.
I welcome advice, comments, offers or warranted jealousy. It could've been better, especially if the Cheyenne had a board.
