Took the kids to Disneyland over the weekend and had an absolute blast. I booked a room across the street from the park for cheap ($55/night) at a place called the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. We were at the park all day Friday, and brought the kids back to the room around 7:30, and left them there with my Mother in Law so that my Wife and I could go back and ride the bigger rides @ Disney that we couldn't go on during the day. As we were leaving, I noticed a lit up room in the distance and figured I would walk over there on our way back across the street. Sure enough there was a little game room, and surprisingly there was a decent selection of games. Off the top of my head, there were 2 Fish Tales pins (one w/ a glitchy DMD), a Ms Pac, Simpson's, Slugfest Pin, T2, a row of 3 Cruisn's (one not working), a Golden Tee with a reset issue (couldn't get past the boot up screen), and a pair of Virtua Cops. I had no cash on me, so I didn't get to play any of them, but I took a few quick pics of the games to share. I figure I will be staying at this place again when we go back (only because you cant beat the price for its location) so I will get to play them eventually. Anywho, here are the pics. Cool to see some places still have games around even if the room was empty of anyone playing them :(

Disneyland is cool... I can't wait to go with my boy when he's old enough to understand what is going on. I totally dig Disney's dark rides. Do they still have the penny arcade in the park?

$55/night is a great rate close to the park. How was the room?

The room was fine. 2 Queen beds, and it was plenty big enough for the port-a-crib for the baby. The bathroom was kind of meh, but whatever. For one night, it was great.

Disneyland is the best. Sam is only 2 (well, he'll be 2 in May) and he freaking loved it. He cried on Pirates Of The Caribbean (I forgot about the 1st hill) , but other than that he had a blast. Dumbo was his favorite and he controlled the up and down stick the whole time. He also loved Peter Pan, Pinocchio, Small World, and Mr Toad's Wild Ride. It will be awesome when they are big enough for Toon Town, and for the bigger rides, but the look on his face the whole time was priceless. We had so much fun.

Who lays on top of the bedspreads?!? Hasn't anyone seen that episode of 60 Minutes? Or was it 20/20..... They never wash the damn bedspread....

Back to the topic at hand, we took our 7,5, and 2 year old to Disneyland last summer. They had a blast and are begging to go back again. We stayed at the Camelot Inn & Suites, right across from the entrance. Worked out great for kids to come back and nap during the day so that we could stay late at night. The game room in the hotel was about the same, in fact it had a Ms. Pac and Slug Fest too. I think it might of even had a Fish Tales.... Also had a broken Super Off-Road. Ms. Pac was trashed and painted black. I thought I took pics, but I can't find any.....
