I'm not getting a kit. So please skip that.

I've wired my Galaga up for a switching PS... but I keep running across information that conflicts with what I'm sure I've read elsewhere (don't have the links, couldn't find them again...)

But as far as wire colors go... here's what I've got in my head.
Orange is +12
All 4 reds are +5
White is +5
Everything else EXCEPT the white/green wire is ground...

No idea what I'm supposed to do with the white/green... from the schematics, I'd say ground?

I'm just double checking because after I did a search on the forums I ran across a post that says the reds (and I read that as ONLY the reds are +5), orange is +12, and ALL other wires (I read as include'ng the white and white/green) are going to ground.

Which is right?

Pin 10: Yellow, ground
Pin 12: Gray-Red, ground
Pin 13: Yellow-Black, ground
Pin 14: Yellow-Black, ground
Pin 15: Gray-Red, ground
Pin 16: White-Green, ground
Pin 17: Red, +5 volts
Pin 18: Red, +5 volts
Pin 19: Red, +5 volts

Okay, and that answered my question I forgot to ask (about the Gray-Red wires). Instead of Grey-Red mine are Yellow-White... so good, those were right... I have it right 'cept the White... I'll leave it hanging for now.

Okay, so... everything's wired up right now... still no joy from the boards. So, wiring is completely ruled out now. Was worried about maybe my connections being loose so I went with two 8 position terminal blocks and went from a regular switching powersupply to an old ATX power supply I had laying around so I didn't end up with big bundles of wires. Oh well... at least it'll be set up right for when I get my boards workiing. lol

Thanks Ken. :)

When I run my Galaga board with my JAMMA adapter, my PS puts the +5 and +12 to the standard JAMMA pins, and there is a separate power connector that goes to the 3-pin connector on the side of the Galaga boardset. If it isn't connected, the board will not run...
