Finally got my Nintendo Vs. Red Tent thanks to Timberterror and FullThrottle. An early birthday present compliments of the wife.

These are two of the nicest guys I've ever done business with who were tremendously generous with their efforts and time. Karl helped me seal the deal and offered to store and deliver the game to me at CAX 2010 (which I gratefully declined due to lack of patience). Barry took lots of pictures for me and made himself available all Saturday to ensure everything got taken care of when the shipper came to pickup. Truly selfless individuals. Without them, I wouldn't have this game in my possession.

It arrived here in less than 3 days from Marysville, WA. I decided to go through uship.com instead of having Karl go through the trouble of picking it up, storing it, and delivering it to me in July. The main reason is I couldn't imagine waiting that long. I highly recommend uship.com though. Fast, affordable, and efficient as long as you accept a good bid from a reputable shipper.

It's sitting pretty and I'll be putting Vs. Super Mario Bros. and Vs. Excitebike in it for now. I plan on eventually putting in a game that uses both screens like Vs. Balloon Fight or Vs. Wrecking Crew. It just needs a bit of cleaning and touch up.

Many thanks again to Barry and Karl. You guys are the best!

Congrats Jess!
I know you've been wanting one of those for a while.
It looks to be in really good shape. Awesome deal all the way around.
I shall have one of those one day. Enjoy it!

4 player Tennis has to be one of the best games for that set-up. We play Doubles for dollars at many of my parties. Another game I really like playing on this set up is Vs. Pinball. I like sitting there and playing SMB better than standing at an upright as well. Red Tents rule. Mine even comes with a view:

Welcome to the club. :) I've only got a few games for mine right now, but one of them is Dr Mario which was near the top of my list.

Alright, you guys won me over, I'm bringing it. I may be getting Vs. Balloon Fight very soon so we'll see. :)

LMK if you end up getting it so I don't have to worry about bringing it with.

Like you, I may have to go out of state to find one of these beasts. Red Tents are cool as hell.

Vs Balloon Fight is essential. Very nice score, Jess. You are slowly becoming the Ninty master! Word of caution tho: Jow just might steal this from you at CAX. Just sayin!

Welcome to Red Tent ownership. I love mine as I am sure you will also. Tennis is my fav dual sceen game. Looks to be in decent shape. Does it have the coin box's? I am still waiting for them for mine. They look so much better without that huge empty space. Good luck!!!!

Jow, will do. I hope you can show me a trick or two seeing how you're the balloon fight master.

JJMann, yes, other than a few dings here and there and some paint chipping, it's in great shape. It does come with the coin boxes and two sets of keys. One set to open up the screen flaps and one set for the coin boxes. I was happy as that saves me a lot of trouble of finding and purchasing lock sets.

congrats

I know you can't concentrate on your day back at work.... new baby ... oh and the new infant...
