I may be late to the topic on this (if there is one), but this is just ridiculous. I just tried to list a game, and get stopped with this:

You can not submit your listing due to the following problems
We appreciate your business on eBay!

We show that you do not have an Automatic Payment Method (credit card, debit card or PayPal account) on file with us to pay your eBay seller fees. We will need you to provide this information today in order to continue listing your items on eBay. Until this is completed you will not be able to list or revise any additional items on eBay.

It's quick and easy to do - just click here and provide your Automatic Payment Method to continue listing.

So basically, they only want you to sell if you agree to automatic payment of your seller fees. Seems you can do this with PayPal, but unless you have funds in your account, they can take it out of your checking account, and I'm betting they can do it anytime they damn well please. What if the moneys not there, am I going to overdraft? All because I cant just pay them by a specific due date like it always used to be. Sombitch!

So they dont trust sellers? Thats fine, I'm sure we can thank deadbeat sellers for that one. But can't they at least set it up to where they automatically take the fees out of the payment you receive from the buyer? I dont know about you, but I'm not at all comfortable with the idea of automatic payment enrollment, especially when involving eBay and PayPal, which are not FDIC insured. Makes me think about closing my accounts alltogether.

Simply stop using ebay...it sux now anyway. The fun ran out more than 3-4 years ago when it became a very hostile environment for sellers. Way to go ebay! Try Craigslist or Ioffer instead..so much better than the grief that ebay causes...
