Ok, bought a DKJr pcb, ready to hook it up, but first:

Never seen a wiring harness which is a bunch of wires directly to the pcb (versus an edge connector).

Hopefully I can figure out where to hook them up on the pcb, doesn't look labeled very well on the pcb itself.

I also need to figure out how to test the power supply on this thing before connecting my pcb stack.

Had to educate myself a bit on the wiring diagram. I need to order a real manual for this cabinet.

I checked the voltages and figured out which wires went to which connector for the newly purchased DK Jr pcb.

Crossed my fingers, turned it on and boom! It works! Shorted the coin switch wires manually as I need to order some coin mechs, this cabinet is missing a lot of pieces still.

Played a couple games, then put the pcb away for later.

I then got out my newly purchased DK pcb (TKG4) and discovered that I'm missing some of the headers on the pcb, so I need to read up more on this as I'm guessing it needs an edge connector to wires adapter so I can run it in the cabinet also.

Anyway, I'm happy the DK Jr pcb works and power supply/monitor/sound amp are working fine.

Looks like some has removed the headers???

Mikes Arcade do an edge to JAMMA connector for the Nintendo boards... Or recently they've just released an edge connector to the original headers (for easier swap out), but will give you an alternative to the missing headers.

I'm hoping it's just some DK pcb variants only use the edge connector.

I think your fine, if I remember correctly that's how mine is... I can take pics of ever needed

Hey man, im glad to see everything fired up for you. Good luck with the rest of it and if you need anything just let me know!!

Thanks! Very happy with the cabinet, just going through electronics to make sure everything is good before I spend time on cosmetics.

Starting to finish up my Race Drivin (from a Hard Drivin) project as well before I go full steam on this one. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=357641
