Well, just when I think my Black Hole is completely 100% something else crops up. This time, there are no controlled lamps/insert lights, etc. The Backbox and the GI work, and the game seems to be playing fine, just no insert lamps. I checked the fuses, and they seem to be good. Nothing else seems out of the ordinary. These lights had worked just fine for the short time I've owned this game until now.

I tell you what, I've had more wrong with my "A" condition Black Hole then all my other games combined.

"A" condition can mean just cosmetically and not mechanically.

Well, yeah, but this game is pristine inside and out, not even a speck of dirt. It hasn't had a hard life, and therefore should be in great mechanical condition as well.

Well, I figured this out. I poked around the under playfield relays and found a broken tab off of one of the connections. For example, in this picture, it's broken off at the area circled (black circle).

I'm wondering if I can solder the two sides of the tab back together.... If not, could I somehow fashion my own tab?

Loosen up the screws and shove the edge of the broken tab between the wafers, in the right place of course, and tighten the screws.
