Back in 2004 I bought my Pengo. And immediately put it in storage. Well I took it out a couple weeks ago & opened it up for the first time. It looks untouched inside and along with the documentation kit was a letter from Sega congratulating the Halfsies Contest Winner on their genuine arcade game. Dated March 1983! These is also a note describing the "Free Play" modifications and the shipping company manifest from Sega to Quaker Oats Company.
I had never heard of Halfsies Pengo Contest but found this old thread on it while searching around. http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=48573
Now we know there is one more. Very cool.
