Your machine is not worth what you think it is,just because you saw one on ebay for $4,000 doesnt mean that it sold and you should stop using ebay for a price guide.Guy's who collect these things get it,home owners with a crappy gun game thats been in the pool table room/garage for the last couple years and now they want $1,000buck's for it cause they got ripped off when they bought it dont get it.Unless you have a fully restored classic or a rare title you will never get anywhere near your asking price until you come back down to reality and relize you have a $200-$300 machine relisticly. But thats cool maybe yall dont want to sell your games,im just trying to give yall a reality check cause at some of the insane prices i see on here youll be sitting on that game until your post expires in 45 days.

Charming as the above is, I'd guess that whoever posted it is a flipper.

Was it anyone here btw? :/

You dun lurnt 'em. Dun lurnt 'em good, mmmmm. <spits out some chaw>

Seems about as useful as offering free workout advice at a Jenny Craig meeting though...

Noted. I guess that tells us whether the $5,000 price was a typo with an extra 0. :p

OT but gotya, did you ever sell that Night Driver upright you had a while back?

Who are we to believe anyways? Some anonymous 'expert' with enough time to post a rant on Craigslist? Or American Pickers/Auction Hunters?

Reality TV would never lie to me, shut your mouth.

I just think it's funny when people go nuts like this on CL or wherever. Like it's going to convince that dumbass I ran into the other day who said, "I've been selling on Ebay for 10 years and KNOW how much this stuff can sell for. So don't tell me I can't get $1800 for that Arkanoid..."

Personally I enjoy seeing the guys with the super crazy prices continually repost their stuff until it hits a realistic price as long as it doesn't clog up the listings. That Razor Hobbies guy ended up taking sac prices in the end. Sort of wish I had snagged his BurgerTime now when it hit $100-150...

On that note, however, we may be seeing the $5000 (now $3000) Super Pac-Man on Houston CL for quite a while.

I haven't gone so far as to call them out on CL, but I HAVE contacted people who wanted like $2500 for a Shinobi locally where I could get some of the stuff they're smoking...sounds like some high-quality cheeba...

I'd contact them and tell them you have a working one you'll sell them for $500, and then they can sell TWO for $5000...

lol I was half tempted to do exactly that once...I had a Chicago Gaming Arcade Legends I bought for $100...them saw some other guy list one in worse shape than mine for $3000 and contemplated offering him mine for a grand :-D

Damn moral compass...
