It looks like retroACTIVE and I have the same idea.

This project started by getting a set of untested boards on ebay.Next step was to find a cabinent. Got one that had been converted to Kung Fu Hero. It was in pretty rough shape.

Some more pics.

The wire harness was pretty hacked. Think I'll have to make a new one.

Took all the guts out. Time to start stripping (the cabinent) and making repairs.

As others have mentioned, berzerk did not have leg levelers. Moving the game really chews up the bottom.

attachment.php

Gonna be easier to just cut the bottom off and replace it than try to fix this.

Used a router to cut off the bad part.

Replacement piece cut and groved for the front and back support pieces.

attachment.php

Used a biscut cutter to cut slots in the bottom edge for strenght. Added blocks for leg leveler plates.

attachment.php

All glued and stapled.

attachment.php

Ready for some bondo.

This side was alot worse.

attachment.php

The whole bottom edge was split and splintered.

attachment.php

Again used the router set to 3/4" depth so I wouldn't go too deep.

attachment.php

Had to cut a much bigger piece for this side.

The cab was originally built using tongue and groove construction.

attachment.php

New side piece ready to go.

attachment.php

I was quite happy with how this fit as it was the first time I tried cutting grooves with the router.

attachment.php

New front and back support pieces added along with two more blocks.

Time for bondo and sanding.

All ready for primer. I cut a slot for the t-molding in the replacement pieces with the router.

attachment.php

Bottom painted and leg levelers installed.

Good job! You're doing it right...

I don't see the tall skinny boardset compartment door. Do you need one? I can copy mine and make you one, if needed, or send you pics. PM if interested. Good luck-

Nice work. Great job fixing up the sides. It's nice to see all the Berzerk's getting the royal treatment. I guess having the control panels reproduced is partly the reason.

Thanks for the offer but I do have the door. Figured I'd fix that and the sliding door the boards mount to after I finish the cab.

I've wanted a Berzerk for awhile, but seeing the CP being done was the kicker. In fact mine arrived yesterday.

Nice work, that looks great! I'll have to look at my Berzerk tonight. I thought it had leg levelers, but maybe not.

*edit- just found a picture from when I picked up both of mine, and niether had leg levelers. Luckily, both cabs were not splintered or damaged at all on the bottom.

And two coats of semi gloss black.

Used a roller with a semi-smooth nap for a little texture. Waiting for a stencil set I ordered, so the black will have a couple days to cure before they arrive.

Looks good... I just got my leg levelers on last night I lost my camera so couldn't post any updates... I also did a ton of work last night with bondo, fixing all of the nicks and bumps...

We were neck and neck now you've pulled ahead!!!

Nice ...

Did I see that right that you have a ShopVac hose attached to your router's dust outnozzle ???

That is pure genius, if so ... how did you do that?

P.S. I am pretty sure outnozzle is not a word, but I couldn't come up with a better one ... so shoot me.

It's hooked up to the orbital sander. I wish I could hook it up to the router. At the level the cab sits on the sawhorses, I get a facefull of sawdust every time I use it.
