Must be a 13 or 19" chassis.Not sure about the "c"
R90 has the 24'vs supply voltage for Vertical Ic3 number on part, Upc1378
also check D14 for short..maybe just ic,if caps were install correctly..like c40
Good Luck!

legs of the d14 are crispy looking. starting to think the vertical ic is dead

Was the monitor working before you started capping it?
Did D14 check shorted..if not just solder it.D14 is on the 12v' line

Sorry i got my lines crossed up,reading the schematic its on two pages.
I ment to say check the 12'v to Ic1 a Upc1397c pin 16
to check to see if it was shorted, disconnet the pin, measure the ohms to ground.
If the 12'v line has low ohms on it start disconnecting the loads, like
any parts that uses 12vs. the signal input header shows 12'vs going out of it
pin8, make sure the signal cable is not shorting the 12v line..
check the schematic for places the 12'v go to like the Neck board
Confirm all the caps you replaced of that line are in correctly..
For the resistor the get red hot it has to have a short to ground..
Ground your meter and ohm the 12v line.the 12'v goes all over the board..
A cap that was put in wrong can short at anytime, it may not explode
just short.Don't plug it in untill you clear the short it will just damage R90.and D14
Use the ohmmeter to find the short..Let us know what you find.

Fixed it!!! everthing was working fine before cap, i checked over everything on this chassis looking for a ground short, well almost everywere . found the short on the pin cushin bridged something as i was reflowing it thanks Ohm
