Ok, so this is the second time the anode cap has just completely come off when fitting it into the anode. I have been getting my flybacks from Bob Roberts. Crimping it back on does not work, the flybacks are trash after this happens.

Can someone please tell me which source of repro k7000 flybacks does not have anode caps that fall off?

Thanks!

i haven't had any of my flyback anode cups fall off. check out my site. if you check you will find bob's flybacks have many problems and he is "ALL SALES FINAL". if you have a problem with mine let me know as i stand behind mine.

I've been saying for awhile to avoid Bob's flybacks.

haven't heard of this happening, I've seen a lot where the anode stem on top of the actual flyback just snaps off. then you get arcs.

Tossing what could be a good flyback just because of that seems such a waste though. You could just replace the anode contact.

Yes that's fixable. But you shouldn't have to deal with that after buying a brand new fly.
