Announcement! My reproduction cabinets - western usa possibly soon!

I have been working out a deal with a Klov member just outside phoenix AZ to produce my cabinets! There are 3 of them, and they do have a cnc setup. This is about 90% a done deal, we are going over the final details tomorrow. This will give all you west coast guys a chance to get reproduction cabinets and pickup there VS from me in Ohio, and also shorter shipping distances for those that can't make the drive.

They will have all my cabinet designs, with the exception of SW cockpit and MH. Those aren't mine to sell, and i have worked out a deal with the person who actually did the programming work on those.

Pretty exciting that my cabinets will be reaching even more people, even if i didn't build them, but makes it worthwhile for all the time i have put into vectoring in all these classics!

If they want to come forward now and let you know who they are, they can, or maybe they'll wait till the deal is sealed! :D Anyways, please post up your thoughts, interests, etc!

Brett

There's some monies changing hands, i made them a reasonable deal on all my current cabinet files. I am really glad more people are going to be able to get new cabinets. It should also help those who produce art, repro parts, etc since there will be more cabinets available to more people, just kind of stimulates sales for quite a few people!

After talking with them on the phone, they sound more than capable of producing a quality product. If it all works out, they will also be producing my subsequent offering as well, so that motivates me to vector in as many different cabinets as i can get my hands on!

i might be able to make a couple trips out there this summer with my 28 ft enclosed trailer if anybody in socal is interested in delivery. im having surgery on my shoulder again soon so i'll be out of work all summer.

i do make some great vector cabs :) I would think the shipping from AZ to CA would be a hell of a lot better than OH to CA lol!

In the phone conversation we had tonight, i offered all the help after the sale i can give them. As i had mentioned before, they will be carrying all my future cabinets that i will be offering as well. EDOT is going to be a cool one to be able to buy, i haven't seen many that couldn't stand to have an entire new cabinet!

I am already getting Pm's from the west coast guys, it's all win - win i think!

please let me know in advance the next time your going to be here! I'm in the northwest part of the state near Toledo. I'm sure if you gave me a heads up, other members on your drive route would order, and throw you some bucks for delivery, may pay most of your gas money!

Phoenix, wOw. That is pretty close. This has opened up a wonderful window of possibilities. :31:

We had a conference call last night and finalized all the details. AZ will be the place to get repro cabs! I'm sure he will be stepping forward here soon with the official announcement. Files are being delivered this weekend!

Now if you just work out a deal here on the east coast. Say around the greater Washington Dc metro region. ;)

I think they would do well. I know I would rather invest in some new cabs as opposed to junk I have to fix.

i am still working on shipping, seems everyone want 400 or more to ship an empty cabinet, it's just too expensive!

We have a lot of great shops here, that could do the work as well. I wonder if you would be interested in another contract/agreement for us east coast guys.

Here is a great local example http://www.bluewatercabinetry.net/
Could another deal be struck, with a small shop something like this?

If the Tempest cabaret cabinets are going to be made, any chance they can be made to match the originals? What is mean is, the Tempest cabaret has some slight differences compared to the Dig Dug and Centipede cabinets including the back grills and top handle. That grill is important to ensure proper cooling of the WG610x monitors.

As for repro cabinets being available for all of these games.... :) Excellent!
