I am making a reproduction of the relay board cover piece for EDOT.
The original was a light grey cardboard, fairly rigid, possibly waxed. The closest match I could find, a very good material - .015" thick fish paper, electrical grade natural hard fiber paper which is used in many places on pins as electrical insulation. This is the same stuff used in leaf switches.
A generous KLOV'r loaned me 2 originals to use as templates. My repro is a cut by cut match to the original, but I'm only dimpling the spots for the holes (check against yours) and I will staple the corners like the original, unless you request that I don't.
Pics below of what you would receive. If anyone is interested, $24/shipped, pay by Paypal - [email protected]
This may seem high for a cover, but the material isn't cheap and I figure about $6 for shipping, USPS Priority as this won't ship flat. Also, it's time consuming to make.
Expect a couple of weeks from order to delivery, as I'll have to order material based on demand. Thanks!
