Andys80s Tron Adventure

I have been told that they all do this....was going to stretch the screen (so its on the edge) but I have no key and have to drill the top lock first. I just hate to have to do it to this original machine. Can someone tell me if I can get the back of the lock if I remove the inside art?

No need to drill, just pick it.... NO JOKE.

I think you can. I know that the translight is hanging right there inside the door. You'll have to carefully get the translight out of the way. It's stapled into wood at the top, and might or might not be taped to the monitor frame at the bottom.

I'd check for you, but I've got a bunch of stuff stacked in front of my Tron right now as I'm rearranging.

Oh, and I've got the same strip of video garbage, and was also told "they all have it."

Another thing you might try it to just stick a heavy flat-blade screwdriver in the lock, and try rotating it. I was able to get into my Donkey Kong that way; the lock was just barely loose enough that I could rotate the whole barrel.

Cleaned up the cp a little....

I tore this thing apart and cleaned it from top to bottom today. Also put my Encom marquee on! It looks great. I will post pics next week.

I hope to get this one this summer if I can.
I like the wear it shows it real. Almost want two machines a before and after hehe
How rare are these now? I hope its not to hard.

Just ordered the cpo, spinner decal, and joystick insert! Got a black/white light yesterday from Kalan714 (Thanks!). This game plays great...I need to get my toppers on it now and stick a black light behind. Maybe if I can find the time tomorrow! ;)

Very nice restoration project (so jealous)! It's great to see these handles being put to such good use. It amazing how much that overlay changes the character of the machine. Went from "beat" to "sweet" :)

Believe it or not that is the OG handle. I have one of yours that I ordered for my project EDOT and it is really sweet. Welcome to the Forum!
