While it's not going to be a fully dedicated arcade, this mother-in-law building will let me have my small collection of 6 games all in one room again. That hasn't happened since ~'06 or so. This is why I put my games in storage after the Seattle show in June. Permitting and what not took a little longer than expected, but construction is finally underway.

Oh man! Just looking at that I can feel the excitement! Can't wait to see more! And then with the games in it!

I have an mother-in-law already, thanks.

Arcades will get a wall in the living room, not the whole room.

Are you doing the work yourself? Is that your backyard? I wish I had a detached space I could escape to,your gonna love it. Congrats!

I'm not doing any of the work myself (it would take WAY too long since I'm at work ~10 hrs each day, longer if you count the commute).

The last two shots are from the back door of the current house. This building will be in the 700-750 Sq ft range (don't recall exact dimensions off the top of my head)

down here that space would be used for a pool LOL,i miss the evergreens i lived in seattle for 6 years in the mid 90's my son was born in bellevue.

The only 6 I have - Frogger, Championship Sprint, Moon Patrol (cocktail), Arena pinball, multi-JAMMA cab, and Zeke's Peak.

Once I set it back up again, this will be the most likely line up:
Black Tiger
Snow Bros.
Rampart
Super Buster Bros.
Carrier Air Wing
Empire City: 1931

Haven't picked paint. I'm partially color-blind so my wife will handle all of that. Actually most of the interior stuff she'll be picking out.

We have picked out the countertop, cabinets, and kitchen sink. That's about it for the interior so far.

Looking awesome! That'll be one hell of an arcade!

The scary part (for me) is if I built an "Mother-in-Law" unit that size, my mother-in-law WOULD move in... She wouldn't mind, she'd sleep right next to the games! Which is a problem - because I want to sleep next to my games!!!!

We have a roof and some windows now.

My MIL will end up staying there fairly often, as will my Sister in Law. I'm guessing they'll be the two most frequent guests out there once it's done.
