Anatek Blue ESR owners

Just put one of these together and was wondering the following.

What kind of probes are you using? Does the length of the probe wires have any adverse effect on readings? Do you zero before each use?
 
I just use the probes from my multimeter. No big deal as the wires are big enough that they are easy to zero out.

I ended up doing the same thing. The chart that comes with these meters sucks though. I wonder why they didn't use a chart similar to the ones used on other esr meters that are based on Bob Parker's designs?

I'm in the process of reprinting the one that RPO Z06 previously posted a link to, on a sticker. I plan on replacing the Anatek sticker on my meter or at least placing the one with this chart on the back.

The chart on mine is just fine. I have the older model.
