I said I'd never own one. But I couldn't pass this up...

May I present to you.... my $25.00 (minus $3.50 in quarters I found in the coin box) Playchoice 10.

It came with 11 games... off the top pf my head:

Mike Tyson Punch Out
Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros 3
Metroid
Some Wresting game
Castlevania
1942
Gradius
and a couple more.

A couple toppers came with it...

The cab is in SO SO condition...it's seen moisture but none of it got inside. I don't know if the cab works or not as there is no power supply.

Will the power supply in my Super Punch Out work with this PC10?

damn bro congrats....you stole that :) I see a GNR pin in the background im jealous....everything working on the pin? Awesome pin by the way! :)

Local OP... dude mostly deals with bar stuff... but had a few cabs laying around...

The PC10 came back from Wyoming... along with a water drenched Rush The Rock (offered at $150 but I passed... it was BAD) and 2 Asteroids that he offered to me at $25 for both. They are BAD though... 1.25" thick in parts... water logged ... barely able to stand up on their own. The insides got it too... there is a ton of rust on the a G05-801 ... the 802 in the other cab looked a little better but I doubt either work.

The cabs themselves are toast... T-molding falling off... side art vinyl coming off the RTR... a mess. the PC10 did a little better because it was under a tarp evidently... and it's ply.

Any advise on the PS? I'd like to test the cab with my Super Punch Out PS if that'll do it.

The PC 10 used to be a Punch Out so borrowing the PS from your SPO shouldn't be a problem. Getting a Nintendo PS or switcher put in there, should be easy enough. I would definitely agree that for $25, you sure took that one. I don't need one of those, but I wouldn't have turned that down. If I had one, it would be a novelty and probably wouldn't get played much but for $25, you can't really go wrong. Spare parts for your SPO, if nothing else.

I never got the appeal of paying to play NES games. I still have my original NES, but that was the kind of crap I played when I couldn't be at the arcade.

25 bucks is a screaming deal though. Nice score.

Yeah... I am not a fan. If it works, it will go to my brothers house who's been pestering me for a game. I figure it has two Sanyo 20EZ's...at least. Hell, I could convert it to another Punch Out since I sold my last one.

Welp... she's pretty much non-working (what did I expect)?

I get a semblance of the select screen up top... I can move around ... the but graphics are corrupted with letters and a bunch of crap. I can select games and what not but the main screen also comes up all garbage...

The top monitor has some collapse but the color is there.

The bottom monitor comes up all purple and with what appears to be some geometry issues.

Both click once in a while (and the image jacks up when they click)...

Bottom line: The PC10 System is toast. I wish I knew someone local I could test the games on though I'd be wiling to bet they're fine.

even the rush the rock at $150 is a good deal.... I got a pair of them that had been sitting out for about 6 months and were destroyed. I was able to strip both cabs and salvage enough parts to make almost $1g

If the boardsets still work they are worth bank.

Would have saved you a few hundy in shipping costs, eh?

LOL might have saved me a bit more had I snagged the deal first. ;)

Now if only I could get out of the desert and get home to see what I've got to deal with. I'd imagine it should be arriving later today or tomorrow. :p

Oh well. Stick parts (thanks Stephen!), art (thanks Darrin!), new molding, and the whole nine yards should by lying in wait along with the game by the time I get back at least. Even got a good tube I can steal from my extra Millipede machine if it's the same pinout. Powder coating the panel may take me a few to get around to though and I'll have to figure out what caps to order for the chassis, but - being in TX - Mouser will get those out within a day or so.

(Sorry for the threadjack, more psyched about that acquisition than any I've made in a while. Thanks again! :D)

Wish I could help you out but I don't have a PC10. I do have an extra Nintendo PS if you need one.
