So here I sit convinced that I am the best MKI and MKII player on earth...possibly even the solar system...modesty prevents me from claiming total universal greatness. :p

Anyways, I am in search of actual competition. This kinda started in the other thread but I thought I would put it out there.

I am offer a free pizza of choice if anyone can beat me in MK or MKII on my machine. The joysticks are nearly new and perfect the machine is a dedicated MK4 with a 6-in-1 switcher in it with the most updated board revision.

So if anyone would like a shot at the champ please do step on up! I'll be waiting.

Seriously if anyone makes their way through SE Wisconsin do let me know, drop on in and come get some!:)

LOL! If only I were closer, I'd be eating free pizza tomorrow instead of turkey leftovers! :)

I hate to tell you but there are a lot if really good players out there. Zenomorp is really good. Also check out testyourmight.com and ultimatemk.com .you will find some crazy players

I am hoping to find some competition ideally...I love the game but playing the AI sucks, and well everyone I know just doesn't provide a challenge (sorry Dan :) ), so I am hoping to draw out some folks for some competition.

I see a few of you are using the ever popular KLOV excuse of "If I were closer..."

Something to keep in mind should you find yourselves in the tourism hotbed that is the midwest.

I'll play you MK 2 on PSN... It would still techncally be your machine... at least half of it. :)

Ill stop by the next time we come thru to Detroit-- I love me some MK2

I'm not hardcore into MK like SF, but I've heard there are some crazy good players on MK 2's XBLA. If you're hard up for practice or competition, I'd investigate.

care to play mk 1-3 online on ps3?
or perhaps xbox360

let me know

Don't own either...and it isn't the same. Although I am getting closer to picking one up...have a suggestion on which is the better purchase?

When the Canadian invasion occurs and you change the name of Wisconsin to New Alberta come on down, I am sure by then I will be serving poutine and maple syrup pizzas, we can polay a few games eh budday:)

I would get Xbox 360, much better for online play. I am in MN and I would take you up on that MK2 challenge, but I would need some practice again first. It's been years since I played a live player. Back in the day, I was damn good, even better at MK3. I rattled off 56 wins in a row in the arcade on MK2 and would consistently own people in the upstairs and downstairs arcades at the Mall of America and in the Coffman Union game room at the University of Minnesota. The competition at Coffman Union was fierce. Everyone would go there on Friday and Saturday nights because they all knew that is where the best players were.

If I lived closer I'd play you. I'm very rusty but back in my day I was easily one of the best MK2 players, which is how I ended up getting a job at Midway back then. I have a MK3 in my basement and all the MK board sets that I swap in and out every now and then but since no one plays anymore the machine mostly sits there and only gets used on occasion.

I'd play if I was closer/had xboxlive or something. I've never really played anyone that was good so I couldn't gauge if I am actually good or not haha.

MVX,would you trade that MK3 for a Necro's 7"?

Hence my open challenge...I figured the arrogant douche route might encourage someone to come and play...I just want a challenge is all.

No one in my state...no one with plans to visit the tourism hotbed that is Metro Milwaukee?

Sorry, online MK2 on PSN is the best I can do for ya! My Reptile is hungry for fresh skull-meat though.
