An Omega race, red baron and phoenix bootleg CT. BUT!!!!!!

There in a bad part of town, the guy i talked to said "the games have water damage" and also said "I dont want to freak you out but I carry a firearm when i go in this neighborhood" This is honestly the most nervous about a game run Ive had. We'll see im going at 10:00 in the morn.

Grab that baron... If I was there I would go with you!!! Take a friend if you can.. I have gone to some bad areas for games before, always a good idea to go in packin, but never tell them your packin!!

Taking a friend instead of my son this time,Im going to his place first to pick up a pin but when i ask him if he had any more games he gave me the story of,"there in another neighborhod and i carry a firearm when i go there" so i may or may not go to the games.

Well be safe.. Maybe drive thru and check it out.. Atari only made 1500 barons...

The 10 AM statement is mostly true. When you're recovering from hangovers from booze and meth you tend to stay in bed until the afternoon. I'd offer to do the money trade somewhere safe - and you know it may not be an option but I'd offer an extra $50 or even a bit more to ask him to drag them out to a Wal-Mart, BK or McD's parking lot in a safer locale. Half the games I bought sold or traded were done at a neutral site for this very reason.

I think some people over-dramatize situations like this. I mean, drive through once before stopping, and get a judgement. If it is indeed that seedy, then do the money transaction somewhere else.

I've never met people in a public place when buying games. Shit I was in the middle of nowhere one time about 10 miles into the woods looking at some games and the guy could have easly knocked me out and buried me with 1 of the 12 bulldozers he had lying around. Take the risk in sure it will be fine

What part of town are you going? I got most of my stuff from a really rough place just inside the beltway and 59. After the first trip I made there the seller actually offered to deliver the rest for me so I wouldn't have to go back there. It was in a condo complex and he told me the people there would regularly post things on CL and then rob the buyers when they showed up to buy the item. Be careful out there and don't be afraid to just keep on driving if it looks to bad.

Not to knock what you are saying, but I think you have to look at what part of the country you are comparing. I'm sure Iowa has some bad parts of town, but I'm know Houston has some real low life scum here. Be safe Roy.

Lol, bullshit on the 10am, I was at this place at 9am in the morning and a whole porch full of guys started heckling me.. With $$$ in pocket it wasn't too comfortable. Chances are if your host is carrying, your fine.

Now, once inside that wonderful warehouse, felt like I'd entered the chocolate factory. I mean they had games lined up row in and row out. All kinds of stuff from the B/W days to early 90's.

Some thread on that trip I posted a few years back. Maybe 2009 or so.

Just be careful, don't be stupid and you'll be fine.

What's a few bullet holes among games anyway...

If you make it back in one piece and the OR it totally water damaged I'll buy the blacklight art and boards off you.

Good luck & stay safe!
