An interesting observation on Phet's space wall mural…

Last night on the "Chiller" channel they were showing Phantasm. I got to catch a little of it here and there (the movie's a classic), but something caught my eye this time around that I hadn't noticed before: the little kid in the movie has a mural on the wall in his room, and it's the view of Earth from what I guess is the Moon.. I know that Phet has a similar mural in his arcade, and I wondered if a: it's the same one, and b: where I can get one of these things!!!

Last year I met the Tall Man, Jody, Reggie, Mike and the "Lavender Lady".... It was pretty cool meeting them and geeting their autographs. On a side note, I love that movie!

That is awesome!!! Only thing missing is the 'Cuda! :D

It was!!!! This was at a horror convention and thing I remember specifically was the line for the Tall Man-swear that thing was a mile! From what I read the Cuda is mia! No one know it's whereabouts....

I highly also recommend the soundtrack for this movie; definitely has a creepy vibe to it!

Got mine from Steve's Blinds and Wallpaper for $89 shipped or so. I split it into 2 so I could do 2 walls that come together at a corner.

So phet, that is just some type of wallpaper type material you have there? I was not sure if it was painted or an adhesive, but I always like seeing it, very cool.

Quick question off the original topic- what board do you have running in your altered beast cab? It appears to be a horizontal multi that I am not familiar with.

Yep, wallpaper. That is a 9 in 1 H multi board from Happy Fish. It was cool, but after I picked up my jrok board I had no need for it, so I sold it to a dude who stuck it into a Blaster Duramold cab and sold it as a Multi Williams. Then I converted that cab to a beautiful Final Fight and sold it to a guy in the Cities who was looking for that game.

I still have the Altered Beast kit, but have no idea what I am going to do with it.

Cool, so the happy fish 9in1 had Williams games on it? I am not familiar with that one. Did it come with Williams games or was it programmable in some way? A Blaster duramold multi williams would be sweet!

Yeah, it had Robotron: 2084, Joust, Defender and Stargate Defender. The rest of the 9 were Mario Bros, SMB, Ghosts N Goblins, Kick Rider and Battle City. It was an early version of the 19 in 1, which still sells at around the $220 mark.
