This AM I was trying to remember an Intellivision game that had music at the beginning, bc my father seems to remember hearing one played over and over and over when I was a kid. It will come to me eventually.

However, in the meantime, this mental hard drive search made me remember something else that used to freak me out- for those of you who played the Intellivision Advanced Dungeons and Dragons game, I will never forget how wigged out I used to get when I was getting close to the place where the dragon was hiding. I remember hearing it snoring-breathing-whatever, and that's when you knew............. you were about to die. :D

Advanced Dungeons

Damn, that sound won't get out of my head now! Great memories of my brother and I playing that game.

Thanks for the flashback..............

I had an intellivision II with the voice module..

The best game was B-52 bomber..

"bandits at 12 O'clock" :)

I might still have that system around somewhere.. with about 20-30 games.. maybe..

seems years ago I found it, plugged it in and it didn't power up.. too bad.

I also loved Astrosmash, here is a shirt Sheldon wore on TBBT.

Aaah, memories! I played both AD&D and Tarmin's Treasure to death. I was able to finish the first AD&D on the hardest fastest setting with the purple cloudy mountain. That was difficult, you had to shoot into the dark to score a hit on the monsters, otherwise they were so fast they'd kill you before you'd get enough shots in, especially the winged dragons that took 3 hits.

I remember there was a fun bug in that game where you could split monsters. If you went right until a monster just scrolled off the left side of the screen, then quickly went left again, if you did it right the monster would split. Easiest to do with spiders and blobs.

I used to crack my mum up by impersonating the voice from "Beee Sevuhnteen Bawwwmer".

Burger Time and Bump 'n' Jump where my other favourite games. Really good conversions.

Was this it?

The power supply section is a snap to rebuild. There are just a few caps to replace and game works good as new.
