You're going to need some higher res pics I would think. I'm sure someone can pick off the Williams and Stern smaller ones, but get high res shot that can be zoomed in on.

Just curious... did you put ANY effort into figuring out what they are before posting? I mean... some of them have brand and model numbers right on them.

The 4 that jump out to me are:
3) Williams pinball driver board (System 3-7 or so)
4) Stern power supply (like used in Berzerk and others)
5) I think a Galaga rapid fire board
6) Williams interface board (Joust, Defender, etc. era)

But yes, higher res pics are gonna be needed. It looks like a lot of at least partially stripped "parts" boards.

Yeah I tried but I wasn't sure, and if they are stripped I couldn't figure out what was missing so I guess what I am wanting to know is if I should throw them in the trash or are they something people could use or want before I dump them. But if I am not just going to throw them away people want to know what it is and what its missing and I could figure that out on these by myself, I had several easy ones that I got on my own. Thanks for your help.

1) Looks to be the bottom board to a Frogger
7) Rock-Ola credit counter PCB (used on Nibbler, Eyes, etc)

8) Little add-on board for Defender power supplies (single board style) that prevents over voltage condition that was possible if a component failed. Totally fixed when they redesigned the power supply to have the main heat-sink mounted by it's self. Flip it over. See the O.V.P. on the back?

Side note: Please take the time to do this yourself. Google the number on the PCB "5773-09664-00"

First result? Another thread on this forum.

....and your answer is there. In the amount of time it took you to take the pic and upload it and ask the question, you could have found out for yourself.

Now you try it. Type in the numbers by the Sega/Gremlin on board #1. First result? https://www.mikesarcade.com/cgi-bin/spies.cgi?action=url&type=info&page=GremlinBoardList.txt

Not trying to sound like a jerk or something, but unless the PCB has no markings at all, then a couple of searches will usually turn up info - even on bootleg boards.

Happy 4th of July!

Don't help this tool.

Last time I I'd 90% of the boards he posted and he couldn't even bother to reply about my offer to buy some of them.

Wow! I highly doubt that was the case I reply to all my messages.

Thanks for the friend forum post!

Thanks for the info. Yeah ID ing them is one thing understanding if they are missing chips and are complete is where I struggle, that is what I was looking for help for as mentioned in the previous post above.

And sometimes it's harder than it looks, when I had the last 10 tough boards we had several on this forum that had different opinions about what some of the boards actually where, if you look back at some other threads, it was the space encounters sound board we miss identified.

Thanks

If thats the case then it is clearly missing the daughter board that holds all the game chips, as I have two working complete Trivia whiz boards, must be why I didn't put 2 and 2 together that this was the same board as those.

#2 is Merit Trivia Whiz main board. If that was answered already, sorry for the echo; just skimmed the thread before answering.

Thanks for the help

Didn't think you sounded like a jerk at all, I appreciate the help.

I thought that 1 was a frogger board, but wasn't sure if there was another board that went with it. I assume its missing all the chips that should be there but wasn't sure. I posted it wondering if this is something someone would want. Otherwise, I think I will throw it in the trash.

After getting slammed by Hudson in the other post I think I will just throw these all in the trash and move on. Just thought I would be helping someone out if they needed a part but I don't need the head ache.

I am out! Thanks again for your help thought Rob.

Aw hell, don't trash them. Someone will find use for them, if for nothing else than for solder training! Offer 'em up for cost of shipping or something in the For Sale sub-forum. You'll get some good vibes that will wash away forum grousing.

I'll take em for just shipping if the OP is up for it.

FWIW.

1. Could also be half of a bootleg Galaxian
2. Merit something or other, probably whats mentioned above.
3. WMS System 3-6 driver board.
4. Stern power supply board.
5. Midway Credit multiplier.
6. WMS Widget I/O board used on the video games.
7. No idea but the post above I'd agree with :)
8. WMS OCP board.
9. Turbo or maybe MonocoGP sound board?
10. No idea, looks early Midway though.

Mark, dont be mean/rude more often than not and maybe this guy would offer them to you. Your snide attitude turns a lot of people off to you. I have no idea if you were rude to him in the other thread but you were in this one.
