I put this together at work today.. It's slow... Can you guess the CPO this art is from?

That would be a scared-shitless civilian located above Ralph's joystick area on the classic Rampage. I had to walk downstairs to the garage to be sure. :)

You are correct sir.. Which brings me to my next question. What is good for cleaning the cpo with. I tried some clorox wipes this morning and as you can see from the picture it didn't really do much. Maybe I'll try some soft scrub or something tonight. I need something to cut greese.

PS, a repo on these cpo's would be fantastic if anyone is reading this who cares.. Finding a NOS is pretty much impossible.

man, I'm not sure. I used those same clorox bleach wipes and had pretty good success. Mine cleaned up in a snap, but then did not work well on the white color of my Crackshot CPO. Any one else got any ideas?

Its a shame this game doesn't get more respect monotonous game play yes but it's one of my favorite games as a kid. No one has yet been brave enough to attempt a CPO remake not that I blame anyone this CP is complicated with all the little blades of grass. I have an NOS one that I will scan soon I'm in the process of restoring my upright now and will have to use my NOS CPO. I think I used some Soft Scrub cleanser on my old one the CPO is fairly durable on Rampage I wouldn't scrub to hard though.

Clorox clean up or Simple Green with Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. Start off softly and rub only as much as needed to dislodge the gunk.

Deer god don't use that NOS CPO until you get a good scan done.. You may be the last person on earth that has one. I really hope someone will consider doing a repo someday. I'll be second in line to purchase one.

Maybe I'm lucky, but all my CPOs have cleaned up OK with water + paper towel. I'd think Magic Erasers would work well, as they kick ass everywhere else I've used them...

LOL trust me I know I feel guilty just thinking about using the thing. I have a really shitty old scanner though I might have to buy a newer one just to do this what resolution should I scan it at to be useful for a vectorized repro project.

The easiest way is to get some orange cleaner like Orange Power. Spray a little on a spot, wait 30 seconds and wipe off. No rubbing necessary. if you use the magic eraser make sure not to rub too much in one spot, you will hurt the finish. Even if the color doesn't go away if you look at the CPO in the light you will see a dulled surface if you rubbed too hard. No problems with an orange based cleaner :)

If only I could climb through my computer and steal that from you.. I'd leave a dollor under your pillow though, just to be nice.

Scanner ideas, does anyone know what he needs to do to scan this thing correctly for possible Repo's in the future?

Here is a picture of the overlay I got it a while back from Tod at TNT I believe it was his only one.

best thing i found for cleaning cpo's is some stuff called AWESOME. the dollar stores carry it. this was just a quick scrub with a toothbrush and a little awesome.

ah jeez shanman! You're so close to Rich, you should drive the little distance over to Oregon City and drop that thing off for him. I'm sure he'd cut you back some art for the scan.
