An Arcade "Museum"

I know it has good intentions. But that's just taking preservation too far. If you don't get to play and enjoy the games. Kids won't understand the point of preserving arcade games.

That's weird... I can't say I've ever seen a large arcade exhibit that was "look" only (kinda defeats the purpose IMO). I'm also surprised how many rare games he brought, rather than the more mainstream stuff that people would remember.

Hey kids, who wants to go to the arcade museum for your next field trip?

By the way none of you get to play them

Where does it say that the games can't be played? I'm looking at the webpage for the exhibit, and it says the following:

Seymour Community Historical Society said:
The Golden Age of Video Arcade Games - Twenty-six 1980s era video games from the collection of Bradley and Jessica Czech are on display during July. See and play BurgerTime, Asteroids, Frogger, and many more.

Emphasis above is mine, but it's not clear where anyone visiting the exhibition is prohibited from playing the games.

just ask him what the deal is, he's active on KLOV

An arcade museum that nobody can play?? Never heard of that before.

Hm, took a look @ the link. I just assumed because of the rope, you're not suppose to cross over to the game side.

If you can play them, then that museum exhibit is awesome!

Maybe the rope is to keep you out of the center area!
