Amplifone vector high voltage HV board, refurbished w 1-yr warranty, $425 shipped
I have one refurbished Amplifone vector HV board available, which has been meticulously repaired, rebuilt, and tested, by me.
Details:
- Version -02, Rev A PCB, serial 00279. (Originally came from a Star Wars.)
- Board and wiring have been thoroughly washed + dried.
- All caps replaced with high-hour Nichicon and Panasonic 105-degree caps.
- New repro HV transformer (flyback) installed.
- New +/-24V voltage regulators installed.
- All mods and upgrades performed per the Amplifone FAQ.
- Burn-in tested in my personal monitor for several days.
I have also modded this board to replace the two original factory installed 50 Ohm, 5 Watt power resistors with new chassis-mounted resistors, that are now bolted onto the heatsink (rather than placed right next to the caps, which cooks the original caps, and causes the charring seen on the PCB). This is one of the key failure points with these, and this mod should eliminate future problems.
I will also warranty this board for one year, where if you have any issues at all, just pay to send it back, and I will repair and return ship for free.
$425 shipped in the US. Int'l shipping extra.
NOTE: I also have a corresponding refurbished Amplifone deflection board available, here:
