Since I have a problem degaussing my monitor (it never degauss and the picture is a bit screwed in the upper parts of the screen) I think I need the positor/thermistor/PTC (or whatever the part is called).

Does anybody know of a source for these or does anybody have 1-2 to sell?

TIA!

So did you end up shaking yours to hear the rattle?

I have a few, freight might be $7 or $10 bucks though from AU

They will be second hand, but I would send non rattly ones

No cost, just freight. Or wait for local, it's up to you :)

Heya!

Nope, I didn't, I just figured that I would need it sooner or later anyway I guess...

I'll PM you if nothing else turns up, thanks dez! :)

Did you get the PTH451C from ebay?
Did it work?
Reason I ask is the schematic calls for a 3 ohm 60V look at the part number
in the atari manual.
Atari part # 110012-030 - 3 ohm, 60 volt, +/- 10% Positive-Temperature-Coefficient Resistor

ebay part has PTH451C 142(M)51

Most of the ones I've seen on the board have PTH451C 35(M)19

In the muRata data sheet the only 3 ohm device listed is PTH451C3R0Q11
Could you measure the resistance of the one from ebay?

I got a few from this seller, and can measure if you like :)

Yes Please. Also could you post the part number of the one on your amplifone board.
I assume the ebay one has the number I posted?

Thanks

I could be wrong (it may just be a date code) but I'm thinking that the numbers 35 and 142
are 3 digit resistance values like

35 = 3.5 ohms Only 2 digits would be point values
350 = 35 ohms
351 = 350 ohms
352 = 3500 ohms

so 142 may be 1400 ohms

Just asking.

I got two Amplifone deflection boards that hav parts "borrowed" from that I want to rebuild. Both posistors have gone and so I would like two......Dez do you still have some ?
