I have an R-88 and i was wondering is there any way to mod it for blutooth??/ Maybe using the PA part of the juke?? Or even using an ipod with it in some way. Thanks so much

i have an R-91 with the amp out of an R-88 and i can't find this input anywhere. i have only the R-91 manual so i can't tell if maybe this is an input that my unit doesn't have that earlier models did.

The 125 watt Stereo Amplifier # 6-07438-06 has a 5 pin connector (P2) labeled "Aux Output" located right next to the volume control connector. Don't let the "Aux Output" labeling fool you because it is actually an auxilliary output AND auxilliary input connector.

Pinout:

1: Aux input left channel

2: Aux output left channel

3: Common ground

4: Aux output right channel

5: Aux input right channel

Use a 5 pin Molex housing # 09-50-8051 and terminals # 08-52-0113 available from Great Plains Electronics and other electronic parts distributors to make a patch cord.

thanks Ken! i looked through the wiring diagrams in the R-91 manual and nothing i could find covers the Aux Input that i could see, though squinting at the rather blurry scans i can see that it does say both Input and Output on the R-91 amp, unlike my R-88 amp.

anything i need to do other than wire in the correct connections to get it to work?

Don't know, I've never used that connector. When I need to feed signals into or out of the amplifier, I always use the Rowe Amplifier Accessory board kit.

i'll give it a try and report back what happens. gotta make an order with Bob soon anyway so i'll check and see if he has those connectors... chances are good.

K sorry for the for the resurrection. The inputs Mr Ken mentions work great. There is a caveat the amp needs to have the mute signal removed. At this point I have a switch connected to the outer cam switch till I can come up with something more elegant.

so im an idiot, what is the mute signal??

The "MUTE" signal silences the amplifier when the record is being changed or when the jukebox is at idle (no records being played).
