Does anyone have an R-83 that can grab a few pictures of the internals for me ?
I don't care which version it is since I just need pics or the original guts.
Kinda like the inside shots here - http://www.pinballrebel.com/archive/ami/r83/r83.htm
Just need a few better angles and whatnot. (and these look to be missing stuff)

I have a Disco 200 model that I'm doing a school build presentation on, but mine is now PC based. (no original guts except the lighting control box, coin mech and keypad)
So I want to show what the original stuff "should" have been. Amplifier, record basket and player, etc.

Mine was totally gutted when I got it in case you were wondering why it's pc based now.

Thanks

Hi kevin,

Its a while since we last traded messages.
The R83 on Pinballrebel is the orange version of the Fiesta a lot of these were exported to Australia, hardly any to the UK which were mostly the standard Fiesta, Clairmont and Disco.

I would have a look on the Stamman site on www.jukebox-world.de in their archive section.

Hey Alan,
It has been awhile hasn't it? Nice to hear from ya.
My little Disco 200 project is still going strong and sounds great. Of course only with help from people like yourself. Incorporating some of the old with new technology was a blast.

I checked out that site a bit, not much for pictures of the internals, but LOTS of other great information.

I started compiling a list of major components.....what am I missing here?

Selection Computer
Memory Unit
Mechanism Control Unit
Credit Unit
Amplifier
Power Supply
Multi Denomination Coin Mech
Lighting Control Unit (for the Disco version at least)

I don't expect this to be an exact list or anything, just wanting to show a comparison between an original machine and mine.

Encoder (on the mechanism 601-07667)

That should be it.

If you go on Leon Readers site in the UK he shows pictures of all the parts he sells, www.jukeboxparts.co.uk

Thanks Alan..... that should be all I need then as far as original components.
Now to nab some pictures so I can point at things while I'm discussing them.

This is just for a 10-15 minute demonstration speech for a college course, so it doesn't need to be toooo extreme. :)

I did come across this nifty brochure for these units. Pretty cool if ya ask me.
I uploaded it here to one of them freebie sites if anyone is interested in seeing it.
