I was watching an Episode lately and Frank spots a Kiss Pinball. He then talks up what a big KISS fan he is. The owner of the pinball said the pinball is in restorable condition. They strike a deal on the pinball, and then Frank tells how he is going to turn the pinball into a coffee table. WTF?!?!?

Weren't there two pinball machines and the other one was the one they said could be converted to a coffee table, or am I thinking of a different episode?

He paid 1000 for an Evil Kanevial Pin.. Then "Valued" it at 1500. So he "Made" 500.

He didnt sell the Kiss pinball for a coffee table, I went on their website, and he had it listed for 1200.00. I emailed them, but they never replied....alot of what you see on the show isnt what things really lead to be

They trip me out with that on those shows. They show u how much they "made" by just telling you what someone says its worth. Then you see tons of stuff sitting on the shelves at their stores. You haven't made shit until you sell it.

Major rule of business: money in your pocket is better than money on your shelves.

Translation: You want your money in the bank paying bills not tied up in inventory on your shelves.

yeah i love the show but it kinds of funny they will say what they pay and what they think its worth but only a hand full of times have i seen what it really sold for. i want to know what the stuff sells for not what they think its worth. my bump n jump paid $150 what i think its worth is $1000 see thats easy lol but again i like watching the show

You are so right. I like the show, but I get so sick of "This is what we paid, and this is what its worth" Come on.............tell me what you got. LOL

he paid 200 for the kiss, irrc there wasnt a head for it, which is why he said he would make a table out of it

if you watch it closely, you will see two heads for pinball machines right in back of where they were standing. And one looked like a KISS head. I bet they missed it, and they could have had a complete machine.

Bahaha...idiots. That show has got to be the most irritating show out there...in real life, you never talk that much to someone when buying things. Bad enough Pawn Stars caused every granny with an old pin to think they are worth $3000 as a start (Odds & Evens)! Ugh.

That is true because on the show I saw they picked it for like $200 and said it was valued at like $400. Which I thought was insane I have seen people asking $3000 for the freaking game. Weather or not they got that is another story all together.

I thought they said in the episode the kiss need a backglass and that would be $100(In their dreams.. More like $400+)

From the way its done, you can tell so much of this stuff is staged. They go and find gas pumps, taken them to an appariser and he says he wil buy them. More likely they were picking the pumps up for the appraiser guy..

same thing when the guy off the street bought their carnival ride. That was staged. When they bought the freak show banners and went back to give that guy money, that was totally staged too..

Still, its entertaining. I would watch that any day of the week over the stupid shows like pawn stars and storage wars..

yeah the buyer for the ride was totally a show employee, the banners were legit, but im POSITIVE the show handed the 5gr to give the guy, and i thought it was waaaaaaaay to convienent that there was a buyer for the pumps so close by

but i do think it was for him, sometimes the truth doesnt make the show compelling, so im sure they do whats needed to spruce it up, i think danielle is fake
