Hello everyone,
I've recently acquired a fast draw showdown! I'm gearing up to tackle an issue with the laser disc drive. Seems like a mechanical futz with the belt drive. However, since the machine is down and I'm puking everything out for an overhaul I'm wondering if now is the time to invest in a DEXTER. I'm completely unfamiliar with them, and a reading of the website and the list of working games doesn't list fast draw specifically. It does list American Laser Games in general, even Mad Dog Mcree. But its an unknown for me. Anyone with experience please enlighten me. Any problems with DEXTER? Average turnaround on the Disc sendoff?
-Thanks

Yes, the Dexter player works great as a replacement for the Sony LDP-1450 in all ALG games.

But it's unlikely that you will be able to get one. It was a limited production run and all units have been claimed.

Maybe a few will go unclaimed, or someone will want to sell the one the bought, but for now, you will have to focus on fixing or replacing your Sony player.

It's that is the fast draw I think it is..it came from me originally...i have another pcb and 4 game carts for American Laser (mad dog crime patrol, last bounty hunter, and something else)..also have 2 guns...pm me and you can come see them if your interested

Fast Draw

It is the one! Yea. Good to know about the parts. Haven't begun the rebuild on the Sony yet. May grab the parts from you in a while though. Just trying to get ahead for now.

ouch

That is bad news. Looks like its tinkering time then. I'm excited for this game though. It looks like a blast.
