Shawn,

I'll be there... but hate that it's in such a shitty area of town. :(

Leave *NOTHING* visible in the car. If it can be seen, windows will be broken.

Doesn't cost much to pay for an officer to spend the day there..... Cough cough

Glad it's closer to fort worth, ive personally heard of more people interested now the drive is shorter

How's it looking? Did anyone get a look while dropping off games today?

Volume was smaller due to it being in a new building. Several classics were there.

Prices were low to moderate with the deal of the day having to be a Star Wars with an excellent cabinet and monitor going for 600 before premium and tax.

I only remember two pins that worked. One was a Vector? I might have the name wrong but it went for 900 and a Gottlieb Genesis that went for 550. Oh a working Night Rider pin went for 500 also. There was a Lethal Weapon 3 pin but like my ex wives new husband it had no balls so it was untestable. The Dr Dude next to it was playing somewhat and it was 900 or so.

They had a bunch of trashed pins like a Blackout that was hardly legible on the back glass and a gorgar that looked like it was gasping for breath. Some of the other pins looked like that they spent some time in the rain.

Overall a pretty good auction. I am sure the next one will be much bigger. Also Chase bank was declining all cards because AMA was based in Oklahoma and Chase the company is stupid. They were driving the auction money collectors nuts!

i stopped by and left within 15 minutes.. was pissed i paid $10 to park and it was mostly junk. I did want that giant basketball shooter game but didnt feel like standing around several hours to win it

Yea I wish they would have said you had to pay $10 to get in. I hate places that charge you just to look around. I was there for maybe 10 minutes then I left. Probably won't be going to many more auctions if any unless they move it.

Well, losing ten bucks just to scope it out is definitely a deterrent. Sometimes I like to go just for the hell of it and only lose the gas money. Ten bucks more makes it even less likely.

The $10 was chicken shit, but the $6 cheeseburger hockey pucks were even worse. Talk about rape...

I'll still go back. I didn't buy anything from the auction but did pick up a pile of manuals from Pat and spent $1100 in the parking lot of parts boards and some rebuildable boards. Pickup bed was full so I had no room to buy anything at the auction.

After this auction I would be surprised if they were not looking for another spot. That one was bad in many ways for everybody including the auctioneers. I hope they find a more central location like in the mid cities area. So Tarrant county and Dallas county have equal access.

I'll go back even if it was in the ghetto, oh wait it just was.
