What was the selection of pins and their pricing like? Did any slot machines show up?

$250 for a Robrotron is not to bad of a price, as someone had already started restoring it. I also like the Dig Dug but never saw it working.

Did Dug is in fantastic condition except for a smal nick on the control panel. the screen looks real nice, my brother got it for $375 i think. he really wanted that one

I think I saw one slot go for $25, the pins selection was okay. What I remember

Road Show in very nice condition fully functioning - $1500

Tales from the Crypt in very nice condition some of the solenoids were weak when shooting the balls up in the back right corner ramp and in one of my games couldn't get the ball out of the corner at all rendering it unplayable at that point -$1550

Judge Dredd with all the mods and leds etc in nice shape with very minimal fading on the side. Needed the lower flippers\ rebuilt, and one of the balls didn't fire out when I got multiball -$1150

Judge Dredd - Someone took the glass off and shattered it on the floor into a bazillion pieces, the topper was missing, playfield looked pretty worn and it wouldn't turn on - $Didn't see how much this went for.

Street Fighter 2 - This one was basically in 100 pieces with only a few pieces missing - $95

Police Force - A little worn and dirty basically looked like it just came off route, but played nicely - $600

Rollergames - Same as above except I didn't get to play it - $600

Harley Davidson - Same as above - $1450

NBA Fastbreak - Nice condition but missing a few plastic pieces I could see such as a flasher dome or two etc. Missing trip and topper on the backbox. I didn't get to play it as someone was playing it the whole day basically - $850

Maverick - Really nice shape, didn't play it though - Can't remember for sure but I think it was $1150

Tommy - Same as above but I know it went for around $1500

8 Ball - Nice shape for a game from the early 60's - $200

Eightball - Didn't get to really look at it, but I think it went for $200 too.

WWF Royal Rumble - Looked nice but didn't play it - $850

Data East Time Machine - Looked really nice, but I didn't see what it went for.

Comet - Did not look really nice at all - I think it went for $250

Of course add about 20% for fees and taxes. I bid on the Road Show but it went for more than I thought, I bid on the Dredd too but since that flippers couldn't hit the ramps I couldn't see if everything worked properly and with the problems I did see I wasn't going over $1000. I thought the Tales from the Crypt went for too much, but some of those others were good deals.

That's all I can remember off the top of my head but I know I missed a few, there was one more by the Harley, Roller Games, and Police Force that went for $600 as well but I forget what it was.

That machine was in amazing shape. If it hadn't been on the last row I'm sure it would've gone for more. The monitor had a tiny bit of burn in where the 1982 Atari was, but you couldn't tell while playing.

Any idea what kind of slot machine it was? Japenese skill stop or regular Vegas style?

NEVER EVER set tempered glass down on concrete. The temperature differential on the edge of the glass will cause it to literally explode in your hands. Learned that lesson the hard way when I was 17 repairing a pinball machine at a truck stop location on a route.

Some of the prices don't sound bad, but man some of those seem like they went too high to me....

Vegas style I believe.

I've heard stories about the tempered glass before and was telling my friend that same thing after we watched it happen.

I was hoping to take a pin home but yea a number of them seemed high to me, at least for being at an auction and figuring in the extra 20%. I really wanted the Road Show but at $1900 out of pocket there was no way I was going that high. It did look and play really nice though.

The Royal Rumble went for too much. The display was only half working and after you tried to play it for 5 minutes it would just stop responding. A lot of work needed to be done on it. I think the recent death of the Macho Man bumped up the price. OH YEAAAH!

I didn't buy any games at the auction, but I didn't leave Dallas empty handed!

$ 375 for the Dig Dug was a good deal, but what I really want to know is how much did the disco ball go for?
