I have an Ameri Darts game that I bought earlier this week and it was working real well until yesterday. It began to throw an error along the lines of "Thrasher Protection-1" and goes into a long cycle of checking registers. At one point I turned the machine off, then on and it would be fine; at other times the trac-ball was unresponsive and the game would crash when a standard play would begin. When the game is turned on the red LED on the board turns on, then off when the error appears right before the blue calibration screen. I was unable to get any gaming out of the machine today so it has been disappointing. Any assistance is appreciated!

Id start by checking voltages.
This is somewhat the direction I was leaning. I mounted my Capcom Bowling PCB in there and nothing came up; that board has been tested and works.

Then I would contact me by way of PM so I can arrange to sell you a complete working Ameridarts kit for $50 shipped.

If I can avoid buying additional hardware I will, just trying to keep the price of the machine down and it had been working with this error randomly popping up. I expect the board should be fine and it's just something else in the wiring or power.

I appreciate the offer and will keep it in mind if this board or other items go to hell for whatever reasons. I haven't had much time this week to spend time around the machines, but earlier Ameri Darts started right up without a problem and I spent over an hour playing it. It's the only machine I own that decides to just flake out.
