Amazon Hunt (Gottlieb System 80A) will not eject balls from playfield

I acquired an Amazon Hunt pinball based off of Gottlieb's system 80A. Everything appears to work perfectly, except there are two places on the playfield where the pinball gets trapped, and should eject back into play. The ball gets stuck in the hole, but will not eject, from either side of the playfield. I am new to pinball machines, and was wondering if anyone had the expertise to let me know where to start looking to fix this problem. I looked under the playfield, and nothing appears wrong with the solenoids. Is there a fuse somewhere that is in this circuit, but would not affect anything else in the game? Could there be a problem with a component on one of the PCB's? I'd like to find a place to start looking to troubleshoot...

Thanks,
Dave

there will be a switch in each place to indicate that the ball is there and should be ejected. look at that switch and adjust or replace.

do the solenoids fire in test? that'd be another place to check. they may look good to your eye, but might have wiring broken somewhere in the chain, might be frozen, etc.

Thanks. I think the switches are in place and working, because when the ball gets trapped it does activate the special sound and scoring, but the ball never ever ejects.

I ran the machine through test mode, and NO, those two solenoids NEVER fire. I also noticed a diode removed from the power board behind the backglass. Could power not be getting to these solenoids??

Thanks.

Is there a fuse under the playfield? Check for one. Sad thing is I have an Amazon Hunt and can't remember if there's one there or not.

Haven't been into this yet to check for a fuse - however, I noticed some posts regarding the big orange capacitors in the base of these Gottlieb's. This one certainly has two large orange capacitors hooked up near the power supply. Could these be part of the problem, and should they be replaced??

Guys, thanks for all the advice! I found one bad fuse under the playfield, and got the solenoids working perfectly last night. Funny thing is the fuse that was blown was not the one that the instruction manual said controlled those ball ejection solenoids... Anyway, it's running 100% now - can't thank you guys enough...
