The Vic-20 was the first computer I ever bought. Saved up my money from a Paper route to buy it. Was $299 (Under $300!). Lot of money for a kid back then.
Never had a Vic-20.. I have had my C=64 since 1983, and still use and play games with it all the time...

My progression was TRS-80 -> Vic-20 -> C64 -> C128 -> Atari ST -> PC.
You peaked at the C64 .... ;-)

Greatest machine ever, ...at the time...
Too bad Commodore screwed royally and went bankrupt.
... that brand has so much potential...
...ahhh, the good ole days !

I have two c64s a 1706 monitor, printer, modern and floppy drive. I need to do an alignment on it.
When I was in school my first computer was the PET, which no one is mentioning!
Also the apple ][ had some great games, its version of ms pac was really good, so was choplifter, mario bros, and I loved Montezuma's Revenge!
I have 2 1541's that I picked up at thrift stores. Neither will read a disc, and I haven't tried to align. I'm sure if you've done it, it's easy, but how hard is it to figure out?
That's a Scott Adams classic!Did anyone ever play The Count for Vic-20? if so I would like to hear about it. I used to try to play it as kid but could never figure it out. Its hard to find any info on the actual "gameplay"
