Aluminium Stickers the 2e batch

So that totals 6 (3x4 1x5 1x11 1x12)

Do you want both the printed #4 with the same data ?

I have updated the "order post" on the first page

I'll take :

(2) #4 - (1) Printed with the following, and (1) blank : Model #: 383 XX, Serial #: 0001, Volts: 120, Amps: 3
(1) #5 - Model #: 38300, Serial #: 0000001, Volts: 120, Amps: 3
(1) #11/11a - Serial #: 00001
(1) #12

No slashes in the zeroes, if that was ever decided/debated/an option.

Nope, just (2) #4's (one printed, one not)

So 5 total.

(1) #4 - Blank
(1) #4 - Model #: 383 XX, Serial #: 0001, Volts: 120, Amps: 3
(1) #5 - Model #: 38300, Serial #: 0000001, Volts: 120, Amps: 3
(1) #11/11a - Serial #: 00001
(1) #12

;)

(Qty: 3) #11
(Qty: 3) #12
(Qty: 2) #5 - Blank
(Qty: 1) #5 - Model: 38300, Serial: UR00001, Volts: 120, Amps: 3
(Qty: 1) #5 - Model: 38300, Serial: UR00501, Volts: 120, Amps: 3

My Asteroids Cabret has an identity! Yeah! I found its serial number last night!

Anyway, here's my final order.

I don't have a typewiter and no one else I know does either, so please have the following printed on the stickers.

(Qty: 1) #4 - Model 298-01, Serial - 688, Volts - 110, Amps - 3.
(Qty: 1) #10
(Qty: 1) #14 - Model ASTEROIDS CABARET, Serial no. - SAS 688. (must be all in caps like I typed please)

Thanks!

We are almost there guy's !

I just updated the first post, and we have 20 more to go, then the sheet is full.

I'll try to put them in the sheet soon, and then i can see the exact space left

Thanks so far !

kspiff: 2x #4, 7x #11, 2x #12, 6x #5 (#11a is included with #11) totals: 17

Above were my original quantities. Please bump up my quantities to:

kspiff: 5x #4, 10x #11, 10x #12, 10x #5 (#11a is included with #11) totals: 35?

Also please input the type specified in my last post, but since I'm not home anymore I guess the rest will have to be blanks.

If there is not enough room on the sheet left then... hmm... bump down the amount of #12 a bit. If there still isn't enough room and you get down to 5x #12 then let me know and I'll figure something out.

If the count was accurate from his last post there is only about 2-3 stickers left to fill the sheet. So, yeah, best to hurry and get in on it now if you need something.

I have counted again, and i count 62 total.
Anyway, its enough to make it happen now, but i expect some from the members at DLF also.

So just wanted to full the sheet complete.

whatever may happen now, don't worry, its on ! :)

Sweet! :)

Can I still get in on this? I need a #2 and a #4..

Type #4 - Model 298-01, Serial - 693, Volts - 110, Amps - 3

Sure, i have updated the status on the first page

It will be 1x #12 and 1x #13 according to your PM

By the way, i missed the update from KSPIFF, so you guys where right...

My apologies for that .

but like stated before it is enough to fill the sheet, and it will be printed soon.
I spoke with the printer, and the refference points are not nessesary to print this time because we dont cut them with the cnc cutter, so it gives a bit more space in the sheet because i can position them more to the edge.

I'll let you know what the space is left or like KSPIFF says if there need to be removed.

And if there is an explosion of orders, i just fill 2 sheets or more ;)
The minimum was 1 sheet, so we have that now..

Or there could be a 3th run if there is enough demand :)

I did a little experimenting with embossing the "Clarendon bold" font.
Not a succes, since illistrator converts it to raster and applies the embossing effect then..
that looked horible since it is so small
IMHO too many jaggered edges, and it will totally ruin the nice sticker.

So i went the other direction, it is not possible to get the exact effect as imprinted letters ofcourse,
but a little gray tint put in top of a grey field that represents the color of the aluminium gave me satisfying results..

Now i have done some different fonts, since the "clarendon" looked too thick

I searched for a simular font:

Another candidate, this time a little more classic.

centuryschoolbook.jpg

then just plain "courier new" since they use that also many time in real typewriters (well at least in europe the did)

couriernew.jpg

but all in all it did not "catched me" :-\

Then i found this, it looked way more authentic to me..

1942report.jpg

and the last one, that attracts me the most, since it does have a more authentic effect than the somewhat "destroyed/old" effect that the previous had.
It also has a simulated skewing effect of an old typewriter.

If you ask me, then i use the last.

but maybe you have another prefference..
What you guys think ?
